Require live photos

When proof matters, you can now require a photo taken on the spot — no camera-roll uploads.

• A per-step control — any photo or video step in a check-in, audit, or task list now has a toggle: allow uploads from the camera roll, or require a new photo taken live.
• Straight to the camera — on live-only steps, the app opens the camera directly, so there’s no picker and no old photo passed off as a fresh one.
• You choose per step — steps where an existing photo is fine keep the camera-roll option launched earlier this month; nothing changes unless you turn the toggle on.
